To begin my journey into AutoCAD drafting I started with stairs. I chose to create a set of stairs modeled after Queen Anne style architecture. I wanted a U-shaped curve in the stairs to create a balcony effect for differing height visuals if to be used in a stage production.

The newel posts, handrails, and balusters are pre-made from a collection of sources. All of which is labeled on page 2 of the drafting.
